This selection of postcards celebrates the rich tradition and bold invention of artists working in Spain during the 14th through 20th centuries. The postcards feature works including El Greco’s magnificent Assumption of the Virgin, paintings by Spanish Golden Age artists such as Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Goya’s 19th-century canvases, Pablo Picasso’s iconic work The Old Guitarist, a Cubist portrait by Juan Gris, and Surrealist paintings by Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí.
